The challenge
ECO-25 is a contemporary downtown office tower that needed an envelope able to stand up to intense solar exposure and Ulaanbaatar's extreme climate while meeting a high aesthetic bar.

Our solution
We combined Stac Bond aluminium composite panels with the glazed façade. The tower's signature white ribbon feature was fabricated precisely in composite panel, giving the building its distinctive figure.

The plan
Working with the façade engineers, we developed the panel layout and an installation sequence that integrated the ribbon feature into the structural grid. The plan staged the build floor-by-floor, bottom-up, with each level signed off.

Implementation
The composite and glazed envelope was installed in full and on schedule. The ribbon feature turned the building into a recognisable point on the city skyline.
